Training your nursing team

If you are looking to develop the skills of your current nursing team or offer a voluntary placement to a student nurse, Central College of Animal Studies can work in partnership with your practice, providing comprehensive, industry-responsive training programmes.

We specialise in full and part-time programmes for the veterinary profession, working closely with practices and clinical coaches to ensure the smooth and successful training of student nurses. In developing our courses, we listen to the veterinary industry’s needs to ensure training programmes fit the requirements of both the profession and the students.

In addition to offering a part-time course for students who are employed in practice, we also seek to engage with practices who would be interested in having a student on a placement.

We support practices in becoming training practices at no cost for those who are looking to place a student with us or have a student on placement. We do not charge practices yearly fees to be a training practice with us and we provide complimentary training for clinical coaches.

What our practices say about us…

“I have been impressed with the efficiency and ease with which Central College has implemented a training programme for our nursing team. The courses meet the need of our busy practice and support our commitment to providing high levels of patient care.”
